Job Overview

We are seeking a compassionate Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to join our team in Seymour, IN. This full-time position involves collaborating with speech-language pathologists to provide therapy services that support students in developing their communication skills within a school environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the supervising SLP in delivering speech and language therapy sessions to students, implementing individualized treatment plans, and conducting therapy activities.
  • Monitor and document student progress, providing regular updates to the supervising SLP, and creating a positive and encouraging atmosphere to promote student engagement and growth.
Requirements
  • Associate degree in Speech-Language Pathology Assisting or a related field.
  • Active SLPA license in Indiana.
  • Experience in a school setting is a plus but not required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
