About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Integration Engineer/Developer to join our team at Fathom Management LLC. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sophisticated data integration solutions that drive innovation and elevate our organization's data capabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and Develop Integration Solutions: Utilize MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform to create end-to-end integration solutions that ensure seamless connectivity between applications, systems, and data sources.
  2. Technical Guidance and Mentorship: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members in implementing APIs, leveraging MuleSoft's API-led connectivity approach, and developing RESTful and SOAP web services.
  3. Integration Solution Design and Implementation: Design scalable and resilient integration solutions and implement robust error handling and logging mechanisms to ensure the reliability and traceability of integrations.
  4. Security and Compliance: Define and drive security measures, including authentication and authorization, to safeguard data during continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  5. Performance Optimization: Ensure performance tuning and optimization of MuleSoft applications to achieve optimal throughput and responsiveness.
  6. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and enterprise architects, to understand business requirements and deliver effective solutions.
  7. Quality Assurance and Testing: Provide a roadmap for comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure the quality and reliability of MuleSoft applications.
  8. Technical Documentation: Provide and review technical documentation, including design specifications, deployment guides, operational procedures, code standards, design reviews, and solution architecture.
  9. Monitoring and Support: Collaborate to implement monitoring systems for MuleSoft applications and provide support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution.
  10. Change Management: Implement integrations, maintaining a synchronized representation to incorporate change management principles into the development lifecycle.
  11. Security Best Practices: Implement MuleSoft security best practices to ensure the confidentiality and integrity of data throughout the integration processes.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of extensive experience in advanced MuleSoft development and integration projects.
  • Technical Expertise: 1-2 years of proven expertise in integrating digital twin, Azure, MQTT, IoT, AI, and Snowflake technologies.
  • API Design and Integration: 3-5 years of strong understanding of API design, RESTful web services, and advanced integration patterns.
  • Security Knowledge: Knowledge of security protocols and best practices for complex integration scenarios.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • MuleSoft Certifications: MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 2 and MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect - Level 1.
  • Programming Languages: Java, Python, and/or other advanced programming languages.
  • Integration Patterns: Strong expertise in Mule connectors and developing custom connectors.
  • Scripting Languages: Proficiency in a scripting language, such as Python or JavaScript.
  • Cloud and On-Premise Experience: Skilled in developing MuleSoft CloudHub applications and integrating with various on-prem environments.
  • Real-Time Data Processing: Knowledge of Kafka for data streaming and event-driven architectures.
  • Linux and Azure Experience: Familiarity with Linux and Azure services related to integration.
  • Gen AI Technologies: Familiarity with Gen AI technologies and methodologies.
