Aircraft Avionics Specialist

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking a highly skilled Avionics and Electrical Systems Specialist to join our team in Savannah, GA. As a key member of our service center, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electrical systems on our aircraft.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical expertise and guidance in the testing, troubleshooting, and repair of avionics and electrical systems on our aircraft.
- Develop and implement process changes to reduce cost and meet schedule requirements without compromising safety or quality.
- Train and mentor junior technicians to ensure a skilled and safety-conscious workforce.
- Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required; six years of experience in an avionics/electrical career field or two years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and four years of related experience.
- A&P (FAA Airframe and Powerplant) license preferred.
- Preferred proficiency in the operation and troubleshooting of other aircraft systems or disciplines.
- Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and schematic diagrams.
