Overview of the Role:
A Medical Assistant position is available at Avera's Platte Health Center, where you will be part of a multidisciplinary team dedicated to delivering high-quality patient care. About the Position:
This role involves performing general nursing duties, preparing patients for examinations, administering medications, and reporting on patient conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with a cohesive team, enjoying a schedule that offers a good work-life balance. Approximately every 8th Saturday morning rotation is required, with no evenings, nights, or holidays.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Providing general nursing care to patients
  • Greeting patients and preparing them for physical examinations
  • Administering prescribed medications and treatments
  • Observing, recording, and reporting patient conditions and reactions to drugs and treatments


Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Medical Assistant Certification or LPN licensure
  • Previous clinic experience is preferred


Compensation and Benefits:
This position offers a competitive salary range of $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, benefits include paid time off (PTO) available on Day 1, a supportive work environment, and opportunities for career growth.
