Financial Controller Assistant Role

Are you ready to take your finance career to the next level? As an Assistant Financial Controller, you will play a crucial part in our closing processes, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial statements, adhering to IFRS and local regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support timely and accurate delivery of financial actuals for legal entities, working closely with Financial Controllers, Business Unit (BU) Finance colleagues as well as business teams.
  • Support on reviewing integrity and quality of all assigned sub ledgers, including preparing/reviewing balance reconciliations, to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Maintain product costing in SAP, monitor and troubleshoot.
  • CAPEX – Support BU creation of new projects, monitor Assets Under Construction (AUC) accounts and the timely closure of AUC projects.
  • Support in delivery of documentation pertaining to accruals, provisions, and special items to support accurate financial reporting.
  • Provide ad-hoc support in non-complex financial controlling activities for Financial Controller and BU Finance team and support delivery of information for external/internal audits.

  • At least 3 years of relevant accounting experience in a Manufacturing Company, cost accounting experience a plus.
  • A CPA and/or MBA a plus.
  • SAP Experience a plus.
  • General knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS accounting principles preferred.
