The Role:

As a Senior Program Manager of Integrated Promotion Planning at Whole Foods, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of how we develop and execute our go-to-market strategies. You will lead and manage the process and innovations of promotional planning at WFM to support go to market strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the business owner of Promotion Planning Tools, representing Merchants, Marketers, Data Operators and support roles.
  • Understand, represent, and advocate for business requirements supporting 'Go to Market' Promotions planning
  • Lead the evolution of EPM and Everclear Planning Tools
  • Lead the prioritization process for tool enhancements, features, and critical data needs
  • Help optimize decision-making and prioritization across the total business to ensure customer first go to market strategy activation
  • Collaborates with project sponsors to communicate expectations to stakeholders.
  • Builds, develops, and grows business relationships vital to project success.
  • Escalates significant, complex, business critical, or sensitive issues for information and resolution as appropriate
  • Be a leader and drive meaningful change through strong partnerships, program review meetings, and establishing a more consistent and standardized approach to prioritization and system requirements
  • Support the successful integration of merchandising and marketing enhancements

Requirements:

  • Strong leadership skills, including ability to lead through others, lead by example, and lead with a high level of trust and credibility
  • Strategic thinker, capable of overseeing a critical and highly visible function at Whole Foods Market that connects with many other work-streams
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a clear communicator, and strong cross-functional coordination skills

Qualifications:

  • BA degree and 4-6 years of relevant retail experience merchandising, operations, data and/or marketing, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
  • General knowledge and experience with marketing, merchandising, and operations
