Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Radiation Therapist to join our team at SCL Health. As a Radiation Therapist, you will be responsible for administering ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes in accordance with the prescription of the Radiation Oncologist. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes
Prepare patients for treatment, including immobilization devices and blocks
Verify treatment plans and beam energy
Document treatment records and billing information
Participate in quality and patient safety initiatives
Collaborate with Radiation Oncologists and nurses to ensure patient care

Requirements:
Graduation from an accredited radiation therapy program
ARRT and RT(T) certifications in radiation therapy
Current license in state of practice (if applicable)
Current BLS certification
