Job Summary

OPCO Skilled Management seeks a highly motivated and organized Business Office Manager to oversee the daily activities of our Business Office. This role requires strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Daily Census Verification Process: Ensure accurate and timely completion of the Daily Census Verification process to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Charge Recording: Verify that all room, ancillary, and miscellaneous charges are properly recorded in our electronic system, PCC.
  • RUG Billing Triple Check Process: Conduct regular checks to ensure adherence to established billing procedures and identify areas for improvement.
  • Private Pay Billing and Centralized Statement Process: Manage private pay billing and ensure timely production of statements to residents and their families.
  • Medicare ADRs and Appeals: Coordinate Medicare appeals and adhere to established procedures to minimize delays and ensure fair outcomes.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma required; Associate's degree in business or accounting preferred.
  • Experience: Proven experience in business office operations, preferably in long-term care or healthcare settings.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, and external partners.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Current knowledge of local, state, and federal guidelines and regulations governing long-term care and healthcare services.
Benefits
