Job Summary
A highly skilled Enterprise Software Architect is sought after to design and implement enterprise-level application systems, utilizing cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and excellence. As a key member of the team, you will collaborate with industry-leading experts to develop innovative solutions, ensuring seamless integration and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement enterprise-level application systems, leveraging expertise in microservices, RESTful services, and containerization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create reference architectures, roadmaps, and technical requirements for digital technology deployments.
• Participate in digital governance processes, supporting project planning, resource allocation, and risk management.
• Conduct research and analysis of third-party software solutions, making informed recommendations on adoption or development.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications, providing expert support during production triage calls.
• Identify and mitigate application architecture strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
• Manage projects and solutions to meet client expectations, collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment.
• Lead and assist Application Development Leads, associates, and contractors in understanding software development frameworks, best practices, and architecture patterns.
• Engage in design and deploy tollgate reviews, ensuring quality assurance and adherence to standards.
• Conduct new hire technical interviews, assessing candidates' skills and knowledge.

Requirements and Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Math, or Information Systems or equivalent development experience.
• 12+ years of diverse experience/knowledge of programming languages, frameworks, application architecture, and enterprise design patterns.
• 2-4 years of technical project leadership experience, with expertise in Java, Angular, Python, Spring, Spring Boot, XML, JSON, containers, microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD, and more.
• Experience in architecting Web Applications using microservices and RESTful services, modernizing legacy applications, Domain Driven & Event Driven Architecture, Kafka & AWS, and S/W engineering, application architecture, and enterprise architecture (on-prem/cloud).
• Familiarity with data security and privacy technologies, awareness of key digital technology trends, vendor landscape, and experience building mission-critical business applications.
• Demonstrated expertise in application development life cycles/methodologies, ability to mentor diverse teams, and effective communication with IT and business leaders.
• Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of the job, with willingness to travel as necessary and complete Penske employment application, submit to background investigation, and drug screening.

Salary Range:
$150,000 - $200,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
