Job Title: Process Technologist

Bel Brands USA is seeking a highly skilled Process Technologist to join our team in Little Chute, WI. As a key member of our Industrial Development department, you will be responsible for implementing innovation and renovation projects, as well as driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Represent the company's innovation and renovation efforts at the plant, working closely with marketing and production teams to develop and implement new projects.
  • Coordinate and manage development projects, ensuring timely completion and effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Plan and optimize activities, taking into account marketing requests and factory constraints.
  • Validate performance levels (OEE, waste, cost) in decision-making processes.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in food science or related field preferred, Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in the food industry, with dairy experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with continuous improvement tools and lean methods.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to multitask and make decisions.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with ability to motivate and develop team members.
Competencies and Abilities:
  • Ability to communicate and develop good working relationships with team members.
  • Strong management skills, with ability to clearly communicate expectations and motivate peers and other interested parties.
  • Excellent communication skills, with ability to understand audience and adjust communication to drive desired results.
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently perform all job duties with a sense of urgency.
Working Conditions:

Work is performed largely in an office environment, with occasional variation in work hours due to special projects, deadlines, and other concerns.

The physical demands of this job include frequent use of hands to finger, handle, or touch objects or controls, as well as occasional standing, walking, sitting, reaching above shoulders, tasting and/or smelling, or talking and/or hearing.

The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds collecting samples and performing laboratory tests.

Specific vision requirements include close vision, peripheral vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
