Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will verify client information by interviewing the client, reviewing and/or recording medical history, and confirming the purpose of treatment. They will help clients improve their quality of life by compensating for limitations, such as improving motor skills and re-entering the labor force, and teaching individuals with learning disabilities to live with increased independence. The Physical Therapy Assistant will implement treatment plans through direct treatment and collaboration with Physical Therapists, education of other team members involved in the treatment plan, and family members. This role offers the opportunity to work at multiple centers, serving a wide variety of patient needs.
