Role Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital plays a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care. As a key member of our Patient Care Services Team, the RN will:

  • Establish collaborative relationships with physicians and other healthcare providers
  • Delegate, assess, provide, and evaluate patient care
  • Provide and delegate patient care activities to team members
  • Monitor patient progress and prepare patients for discharge
  • Report directly to senior unit management and participate in shared decision-making activities
Responsibilities

Key responsibilities of the Registered Nurse include:

  • Carefully assessing patient needs and developing personalized care plans
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care
  • Providing education and support to patients and families
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on patient progress
Qualifications

To succeed as a Registered Nurse at DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital, you will need:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Michigan
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
