Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Security Systems Specialist to join our team at Securitas Electronic Security. In this role, you will be responsible for providing service on security systems at customer sites, ensuring their satisfactory working order.

About the Role

The Security Systems Specialist will be responsible for:
• Servicing intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems
• Performing scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment/systems under contract agreement by inspecting, adjusting, cleaning, and calibrating systems and checking out equipment to ensure it's in satisfactory working order
• Completing maintenance within assigned hours, reducing emergency calls, and achieving the goal of zero call backs
• Assisting with the start-up of new equipment or system installation and adjusting as needed to ensure the system is operational
• Planning schedules, laying out basic electrical equipment installations, and assisting in the start-up and check-out of new systems installations

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems. A thorough knowledge and understanding of these systems, including NICET Certification, Lenel, Pro-Watch, Software House, Picture Perfect certifications, and Bosch, Honeywell, Radionics, or DMP system knowledge, is also required. Additionally, you must be able to climb ladders up to 24 ft. in height, carry items up to 75 pounds, and work on-call on a rotational basis covering after-hours & weekend emergency calls. A valid state driver's license without restrictions is necessary.

We offer a highly competitive salary, $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
