Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse 4 - Full Time, Perm

Under the direct or indirect supervision of a Registered Nurse, the Licensed Practical Nurse 4 supports the department's mission to improve public safety by assisting in the implementation of the nursing process and delivering services to promote health, foster healing, and support coping and adjustment to various health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide competent patient care.
  • Self-evaluate and practice professional nursing conduct at all times.
  • Delegate and assign tasks to other staff as appropriate.
  • Initial and continuous unencumbered licensure in the State of Washington as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of practical nursing whose accreditation is recognized by the U.
  • Experience working as a nurse in an acute care setting or a correctional facility.
  • Proficient using computer-based programs to schedule, monitor and track patient information, perform data entry and word processing, and communicate via email.
