Job Overview

The Vice President, Commercial Operations role will be responsible for driving revenue growth through strategic commercial processes tailored to each portfolio company's customer journey.


Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement measurable sales operations programs to drive revenue from new customers.
  • Collaborate with Chief Commercial Officers across the portfolio to improve the effectiveness of the salesforce by directing sales coaching, content development, and call scripting.
  • Define and articulate compelling value propositions to clients through collaboration with commercial teams.
  • Design and optimize commercial organizational structures to enhance territorial coverage, incentives, and resources.
  • Manage the implementation of CRM configurations and commercial systems integrations for portfolio companies.
  • Maintain relationships with third-party vendors providing commercial system implementations and branding services.
  • Monitor commercial performance to identify opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

A successful candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Business or a relevant field, 5-10 years of experience in sales enablement or sales operations, and prior experience in consulting or industrial technology preferred.


The ideal candidate should demonstrate expertise in sales methodologies, CRM configuration, and commercial systems integration. Strong communication, presentation, and leadership skills are also essential.


An estimated salary range for this position is $150,000 - $200,000 per year, considering the company's location and industry standards.
