Radiology Imaging Specialist

LifePoint Health is seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our team at Starr Regional Medical Center. As a Radiology Tech, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our medical imaging department.
Key Responsibilities:
• Reviews patient history and physician's orders to ensure accurate and efficient care.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice.
• Monitors patient condition continually and reports/responds to changes in status as appropriate.
• Prepares equipment and supplies, selects appropriate exposure factors and imaging parameters, and implements safety standards and quality control procedures.
• Positions patients and performs imaging procedures, analyzes results, and identifies issues with image quality.
• Enters, transmits, and reports scan results.

Requirements:
• Current ARRT licensure and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
