Job Summary:

As a Fabrication Specialist at NESCO Inc, you will be responsible for fabricating new metal components in compliance with all applicable standards of safety, performance & quality control. Your duties will include maintaining tools and equipment to a professional standard, keeping work areas clean and orderly, and working independently or with a small team of other welders to complete large and complex projects. You will also be responsible for managing workflow, meeting deadlines, and troubleshooting problems, in addition to fabrication duties. Additionally, you will execute welds in a professional manner, examine work pieces for defects, and measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications. Finally, you will remove welding slag and examine work for professional appearance before completion.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate new metal components in compliance with all applicable standards of safety, performance & quality control
Maintain tools and equipment to a professional standard
Keep work areas clean and orderly
Work independently or with a small team of other welders to complete large and complex projects
Manage workflow, meet deadlines, and troubleshoot problems
Execute welds in a professional manner
Examine work pieces for defects
Measure work pieces with straightedges or templates to ensure conformance with specifications
Remove welding slag and examine work for professional appearance before completion

Requirements:

1st shift only
Welding experience/weld test required
