Job Description

The Dialysis Unit Lead Nurse plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and quality patient care in our dialysis units. This position is responsible for managing the daily operations of the unit, overseeing direct patient care staff, and promoting a culture of safety and excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the dialysis unit, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.">
  • Oversee the direct patient care staff, providing guidance, support, and feedback to ensure high-quality patient care.">
  • Promote a culture of safety and excellence, encouraging staff to report concerns and participate in quality improvement initiatives.">
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.">
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, staffing schedules, and quality metrics.">

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful as a Dialysis Unit Lead Nurse, you will need:

  • A graduate degree in Nursing (R.N.) and current licensure in the applicable state.">
  • A minimum of 12 months of nursing experience, including 6 months of specialized experience in dialysis care.">
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire staff.">
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex situations.">
  • Experience with electronic medical records and other healthcare technology systems.">
