Licensed Practical Nurse for Rehabilitation Center

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Berkshire Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients.
Job SummaryThe Licensed Practical Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Supervisor. This includes administering medications, performing various treatments, and documenting patient information.
Responsibilities- Administer medications as ordered by physicians, take vital signs, and perform various treatments such as dressing changes and wound care.
- Document patient information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans, in a clear and concise manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.
- CURRENTLY LICENSED BY THE STATE OF NEW YORK.
- MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY CAPABLE OF PERFORMING JOB DUTIES.
- POSSESSES LEADERSHIP AND SUPERVISORY QUALITIES.
- ABILITY TO COORDINATE ALL FUNCTIONS IN THE OPERATION OF A RESIDENT UNIT THROUGH EFFECTIVE TEAM NURSING ASSIGNMENTS.
This position requires working in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions. The nurse must be able to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain accurate records. Additionally, the nurse must be physically capable of lifting patients and standing for long periods.
What We Offer- A competitive salary range of $65,000 - $80,000 per year, based on experience.
