About the Position

At Alfred Benesch & Co., we are seeking a highly skilled Bridge Project Manager to join our Structural Group in Austin, TX.

This is an exceptional opportunity to work on a variety of transportation projects with state and local agencies, and become part of a well-established and growing team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers in bridge design and project management
  • Serve as Engineer-of-Record for structural elements of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Perform quality control checks on plans, calculations, reports, and other deliverables to maintain high-quality project outcomes
  • Understand overall project requirements and facilitate coordination with clients and between disciplines to ensure seamless project execution
  • Manage project teams accountable for scope, schedule, and budget, driving successful project delivery
  • Develop and manage relationships with new and existing clients to drive business growth and expand our services
  • Represent Alfred Benesch & Co. at industry and professional engagement events, showcasing our expertise and thought leadership
  • Identify opportunities and lead strategic project pursuits to drive revenue growth and expansion
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil and/or Structural Engineering required; Master's degree in Structural Engineering preferred
  • Texas PE or SE License required or ability to obtain
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant bridge design experience; experience with DOT projects and standards a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to effectively collaborate in a team environment
  • Proven experience working with the DOT, and/or local agencies a plus
  • Experience with writing and preparing technical reports associated with structural and other civil engineering disciplines
  • Excellent business development, project management, and/or client relations skills
  • Experience working directly with clients developing relationships and winning work
  • Strong organization and leadership skills with a track record for adhering to budgets, schedules, and contractual requirements
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $160,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
