We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our dynamic team at McLean Hospital. As a key member of our 24-hour unit, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to the development of effective treatment plans.

About the Role:
This position involves providing nursing care to patients with acute and chronic psychiatric conditions. You will work closely with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. Your expertise and knowledge will enable you to address the physical and emotional needs of patients, promoting their overall well-being and recovery.
Responsibilities:
- Assess patient needs and develop appropriate care plans.
- Provide direct patient care, including medication management, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless transitions and continuity of care.
- Document patient progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a solid understanding of psychiatric principles and practices. A bachelor's degree in nursing and current licensure as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts are also essential.
Salary Information:
The estimated salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. This figure takes into account the cost of living in the Winchester area and reflects the competitive compensation package offered by Mass General Brigham.
