Key Responsibilities- Coordinate daily administrative tasks, including intake, scheduling, registration, insurance verification, and data entry.
- Manage patient records, medical records, and other confidential documents with the utmost care and discretion.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date reports, invoices, and other business documents.
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborate with our clinical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.
- Assist with financial counseling, insurance verification, and billing processes to ensure accurate and timely reimbursement.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to hospital standards and protocols.
- Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High school graduate or equivalent; some college preferred.
- Prior medical office or hospital clerical experience.
- Proficiency in word processing, database programs, and spreadsheets.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Medical accounts billing experience desirable.
Desert Regional Medical Center is a 385-bed acute-care hospital classified as a stroke receiving center and level 2 trauma facility. Our Wound Care team is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and service in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
What We OfferCompetitive salary range: $21.65 per hour. Individual wages are determined based on qualifications and experience. Tenet complies with federal, state, and local laws regarding mandatory vaccination of its workforce. If you are offered this position and must be vaccinated under any applicable law, you will be required to show proof of full vaccination or obtain an approval of a religious or medical exemption prior to your start date.
