- Focus on medical necessity and level of care in denial management.
- Serve as a liaison for clinical denials inquiries and communicate with stakeholders.
- Review cases against established guidelines, including Milliman Care Guidelines (MCG) and InterQual.
- Draft appeal letters and ensure timely filing.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to improve clinical quality and reduce revenue loss from inappropriate denials.
- Associate's Degree in Nursing.
- RN License in state of employment or compact.
This is a full-time position, with an estimated annual salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 depending on experience and qualifications.
