Job Summary

Hotel Jerome is seeking a skilled Cocktail Server to join our team. As a key member of our hospitality staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring a memorable experience at our hotel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take food and beverage orders, retrieve and serve alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages and food orders to guests' tables according to hotel specifications.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, prices, preparation methods, ingredients, and quality standards.
  • Understand and anticipate guests' needs, respond promptly, and acknowledge all guests.
  • Maintain positive guest relations at all times.
  • Handle guest complaints following procedures and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Requirements
  • One year experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry as a Bartender preferred.
  • Good knowledge of spirits, beer, and wine and experience at a luxury hospitality property preferred.
  • Must be of minimum 18 years of age.
  • Superior professional appearance and manner, good character to work in a fast-paced team.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, according to department needs.
  • Ability to obtain relevant state and local government certifications, such as food handlers certificate or alcohol training certifications, as applicable to the position.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management, and co-workers to their understanding.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to maneuver in a restaurant setting.
