We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Network Administrator to join our team in Morris Plains, NJ. The ideal candidate will assist in the management and maintenance of our network systems, ensuring the security and efficiency of our operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network hardware and software.
- Support the implementation of network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
- Perform system backups of servers on premises and in MS Azure.
- Activate/deactivate user accounts in AD/AAD.
- Maintain documentation of network configurations, procedures, and policies.
- Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery plans.
- Stay updated with the latest network technologies and best practices.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology preferred or Certification from a recognized institute.
- One (1) or more years of related IT support and networking experience.
- Understanding of basic networking principles.
- Previous experience with Server 2016/2019/2022 management preferred.
- Basic understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software.
- Familiarity with network security practices and tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
