Universal Banker Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Universal Banker Trainee to join our team at Midland States Bank. As a key member of our Banking Center, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and building strong relationships with our clients.

• Provide excellent customer service to current and potential customers, displaying effective communication skills and a good knowledge of banking products and services.
• Offer referral opportunities that result in outcomes defining excellent customer service.
• Develop sales and product knowledge to achieve personal and team goals, tracking and monitoring sales and opportunities in customer information software.
• Participate in onsite visits to promote Employee Perks at Work Program & Merchant Services.
• Proactively participate in outbound teleconsulting to promote and expand current client relationships.

• Sales and customer service background.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift and transport coin and currency bags as required (bags may weigh between 25lbs and 50lbs).

The estimated annual salary for this position is $35,360 based on an hourly rate of $17.00. However, actual compensation may vary based on individual qualifications and performance.
