We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Pet Food Experts Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining the company's financial records, including general ledger reconciliations, accounts receivable/accounts payable aging reports, and fixed asset schedules.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and finance, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance position. You will work closely with the senior accountant to ensure the accuracy and effectiveness of all accounting tasks.

About the Role

This is a hybrid schedule position, requiring 2 days onsite per week. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and maintaining general ledger reconciliations for all balance sheet accounts.
  • Preparation and analysis of accounts receivable/accounts payable aging reports.
  • Maintenance and reconciliation of fixed asset schedules.
  • Assistance with sales tax reporting and year-end audit.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, or a BA in Business with emphasis in Accounting.
  • Minimum 2 years' professional experience in an Accounting or Finance position.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with ability to demonstrate attention to detail, multi-tasking and good recordkeeping.
