Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Financial Representative to join our team at Western & Southern Life. As a key member of our sales force, you will be responsible for meeting the financial needs of middle-income clients by providing tailored solutions for risk protection, financial security, and wealth creation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop targeted marketing strategies to attract new clients
  • Network and prospect for middle-market clients through identification of qualified leads and initial contacts
  • Secure appointments with prospective and existing clients for sales, conservation, and service purposes
  • Prepare thoroughly for all appointments using established consultative practices and processes
  • Sell insurance and investment solutions effectively, ensuring client needs are met
  • Plan and schedule sales, marketing, and service activities for optimal results
  • Develop and maintain community relationships to foster brand presence in target markets
  • Maintain personal contact with clients to ensure evolving financial needs are being met
  • Pursue continuous professional development to enhance skills and knowledge
  • Accurately maintain client and company records, payments, etc., in a timely manner

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated high level of integrity
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to adapt to varying schedules, including weekdays, evenings, and weekends
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationship-building, and influence skills
  • Effective communication skills, including listening, speaking, and writing
  • Able to analyze client needs, understand financial products, and sell tailored solutions
  • Ability to influence others to take necessary action
  • Demonstrate personal drive and resilience to achieve goals
  • Willingness to network for new business opportunities

Educational Requirements:

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred

Computer Skills and Knowledge:

  • Working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications
  • Working knowledge of internet and email

Certifications & Licenses:

  • State Life and Health license required prior to hire
  • FINRA SIE, Series 6, and Series 63 certifications within one year of employment

Position Demands:

  • Access to an automobile and valid driver's license

Salary Estimate: Based on national averages and location, we estimate the salary for this role to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience and performance.
