As a skilled nursing professional, you will be responsible for providing professional nursing care to clients in accordance with established plans of care and company policies and procedures.
- Observe and report any changes in client condition, documenting these observations in the clinical record and notifying your supervisor
- Perform assigned nursing procedures, including the administration of treatments and medications, in accordance with state nurse practice acts and plans of care
- Teach clients appropriate self-care techniques and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare team members
- Notify supervisors, case managers, physicians, or families of changes in client condition and communicate potential risk management issues
- Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
- Licensed as a RN in the state of practice
- CPR certification
- Home care or home health experience preferred
- Ability to provide nursing care in the home environment and complete necessary documentation
