Position Overview
You will take on the role of a seasoned program manager, overseeing the comprehensive management and integration necessary to balance various elements essential for establishing shipbuilding program priorities, milestones, and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a principal advisor to the Program Manager and Deputy Program Manager, providing expertise on all facets of program integration, planning, strategic considerations, and international relations.
- Guide Principal Assistant Program Managers and Project Managers in the development, organization, analysis, execution, and monitoring of planned requirements.
- Implement and oversee the application of overarching policies and regulations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and actionable outcomes.
- Act as the program office lead for all foreign military sales and international military engagements.
- Formulate program, budget, contract, and execution plans for the aircraft carrier New Construction Program.
- Prepare both internal and external communications related to the New Construction program to effectively convey program requirements and manage projects.
- Provide counsel on the application of ship/systems acquisition processes, policies, regulations, principles, and practices relevant to all aspects of program management.

Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must be deemed suitable for federal employment.
- Participation in the direct deposit pay program is mandatory.
- New hires within the Department of the Navy must successfully pass the E-Verify employment verification check.
- Candidates must obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to starting the position.
- This role may require travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations, including remote or isolated sites, and the ability to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended durations.

Qualifications
Your resume should demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level/pay band NH-03 (GS-13) in federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. This experience should involve coordinating program requirements or functions to support the planning and execution of acquisition processes, policies, or regulations for aircraft carrier construction.
