Senior Massage Therapist

A compassionate and skilled Licensed Massage Therapist is sought after by Regional Health Services of Howard County to provide high-quality massage therapy services to hospice patients in their homes.

This PRN contracted position offers a rewarding opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

• Provide expert massage therapy services to hospice patients, adhering to individualized plans of care and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams as needed.
• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled visits, ensuring timely and effective delivery of services that meet or exceed patient expectations.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, services provided, and any relevant observations or insights.
• Foster strong relationships with patients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals, promoting open communication and collaborative care.
• Prioritize patient comfort, dignity, and well-being at all times, adapting to individual needs and circumstances as necessary.

• Degree from an accredited Massage Therapy program.
• Licensure as a Massage Therapist in the State of Iowa.
• CPR certification maintained up-to-date.
• Ability to work independently, exercising self-direction and initiative as needed.
• Professional appearance and demeanor, reflecting positively on Regional Health Services of Howard County and its mission.
• Valid driver's license and motor vehicle insurance.
