Job Summary:

This role focuses on assisting with the automation of the deployment pipeline, maintaining security, scalability, and performance standards, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployment.
* Support the development and optimization of automated testing, integration, and deployment processes using CI/CD tools.
* Help manage version control and artifact management systems to facilitate smooth release workflows.
* Contribute to the design and implementation of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Ansible.
* Aid in automating infrastructure provisioning, scaling, and monitoring, particularly in cloud environments.
* Support the creation of scalable, highly available, and secure cloud environments, with a focus on Azure.
* Implement and maintain logging and monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK Stack to ensure optimal application performance and health.
* Assist in identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and infrastructure issues.
* Develop and maintain automation scripts in languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell to reduce manual processes.

Requirements:

* Over 7 years of experience in DevOps, systems architecture, or software development.
* Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps (ADO), GitHub, and Visual Studio Code.
* Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and management tools.
* Competency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
* Understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as AKS.
* Basic knowledge of microservices architecture and deployment strategies.
* Exposure to security and compliance scanning tools like Checkmarx and Snyk.

Preferred Certifications:

* Azure or AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer.

Key Tools and Technologies:

* CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitHub, Azure DevOps (ADO).
* Cloud Platforms: Primarily Azure, familiarity with AWS is a plus.
* Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible.
* Containers and Orchestration: Docker, AKS.
* Monitoring and Logging: Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack
* Version Control: Git, GitHub, GitLab.
* Additional Tools: SonarQube, Tableau

Pay Range: $63/hour to $68/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
