Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Prime Occupational Services LLC. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and care for clients, recognizing and attending to their needs.
  • Perform a variety of clinical procedures and administrative duties, including preparing patients for examination and maintaining medical records.
  • Provide information, services, and assistance to clients and patients at PRIME on-site events and various PRIME Clinics.
  • Assist in injury care, perform phlebotomy services, and give injections.
  • Secure patient information and maintain patient confidence by completing and safeguarding medical records.
  • Update and file medical records according to State and Federal laws.
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing and following standards and procedures.
Requirements
  • Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or equivalent.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of working experience as a Medical Assistant required.
  • Ability to stand or sit for extended periods, lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects up to 50 pounds.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
Working Conditions

The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform activities such as preparing and analyzing data, transcribing, viewing a computer terminal, and extensive reading. Work is performed in a medical clinic setting and requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.

Must have the ability to lift and carry small parcels, packages, and other items, walk short distances, and drive a vehicle to deliver and pick up materials.

Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with employees and visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
