Surgical Department Supervisor

USPI Williamson Surgery Center seeks a skilled Surgical Department Supervisor to oversee the efficient management of our 4 OR rooms.
We perform various outpatient surgical procedures, including ENT, General, Gastroenterology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Podiatry, Spinal, and Urology.
Salary$120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience.

Job DescriptionThe Surgical Department Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all departmental functions support the hospital's mission, vision, and facility goals.
This includes identifying cost-effective systems, taking into account business trends, resource availability, and customer needs.
The supervisor must establish effective working relationships with patients, physicians, employees, volunteers, and vendors.
A key responsibility is continuous customer satisfaction data analysis and employee involvement.
The supervisor works closely with Senior Management to meet Facility goals and oversees surgery, anesthesia, and sterile processing services.
In some cases, the supervisor may assist as an RN Circulator and Scrub Tech.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Baccalaureate degree preferred.
- At least five years' experience in surgery as a circulator.
- Two years' experience in surgery management, including pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care.
- Current Texas RN License.
- BLS certification.
- CNOR certification preferred.
- Independent decision-making skills.
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
- Excellent communication skills with staff and physicians.
