Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer III to join our team at The Ritz-Carlton. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's mechanical systems, including plumbing, HVAC, and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to and resolve guest repair requests with minimal supervision
  • Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication
  • Identify and operate all shut-off valves for equipment
  • Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed
  • Communicate with guests and team members to resolve maintenance issues
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent and vocational or technical background
  • Extensive experience and training in general maintenance, electrical or refrigeration, parts inventory and requisition, exterior and interior surface preparation and painting
  • At least 2 years of hotel engineering/maintenance experience
  • Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification
