We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a Floor Coating Project Coordinator. This role will play a crucial part in the success of our commercial coating projects, and we are looking for someone who is skilled in project management and coordination.

About the Role

This position will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial coatings, coatings, floor coatings, and project management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Project Manager in coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the project, ensuring timely completion, staying within budget, and meeting quality standards.
  • Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and change orders, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Identify and manage project risks and issues, implementing corrective actions to minimize impact and ensure project delivery.
  • Support the Project Manager in preparing project schedules and budgets, ensuring alignment with business objectives and company goals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to client inquiries and resolving any issues that may affect project deliverables.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in commercial coatings, coatings, or floor coatings.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software, such as MS Project or Primavera P6.
  • Understanding of construction contracts and legal requirements, with knowledge of industry best practices.
  • PMP or CAPM certification is a plus.
