Job Title:

Commercial Relationship Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Relationship Manager to join our team at United Community Bank. As a Commercial Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing commercial business relationships, including making loans, obtaining deposit accounts, and selling cash management services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage commercial business relationships with existing and new clients
  • Make loans and obtain deposit accounts to meet client needs
  • Sell cash management services and other bank products to clients
  • Provide guidance to credit analysts and portfolio managers
  • Promote the bank within the community through community activities and events
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or accounting preferred
  • Minimum three years' banking experience in credit analysis or lending
  • Capable of analyzing complex financial statements and completing commercial analyst training program
  • Effective sales and negotiation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs
Eligibility for Incentive Plan:

To be eligible for the Commercial Relationship Manager Incentive Plan, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Primary duties involve new business development and servicing of commercial relationships
  • 51% of your portfolio must consist of commercial loans
  • You must not be participating in an Executive/Management Incentive Plan or any other incentive plan
  • You must achieve a target level of outstanding portfolio balance plus production from the previous calendar year
Supervisory Responsibility:

This position may manage employees and is responsible for coaching, development, and performance management of those employees.

Work Environment:

This is a full-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Travel:

This position requires up to 20% travel.
