At Sam's Club, we are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter Expert to join our team in Albuquerque. This role is responsible for driving sales and delivering exceptional customer service to our members.

Salary

The estimated hourly wage range for this position is $18.00 to $25.00, with the potential for additional premiums ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances.

About the Role

  • Cutting and preparing high-quality meat products to meet the needs of our members;
  • Working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency;
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety standards and sanitation guidelines;
  • Providing expert knowledge and advice to customers on various types of meat products, equipment usage, and backroom operations;
  • Leveraging digital tools to drive sales, improve the shopping experience, and elevate associate engagement;
  • Driving business results, ensuring commitment to operational excellence, planning for profitability, and maintaining a work area according to company policies and procedures;
  • Being an advocate for the department and the club by valuing the member's experience in the meat area and modeling high-quality service and products;
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • 6 months' experience working in a fresh production department;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams;
  • A strong attention to detail, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction;
  • The ability to adapt to new tools and technologies, with a willingness to learn and grow;
  • A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving business results.
