We are seeking an experienced Database Engineer to join our team on a government contract for a client in San Diego, CA. US Citizenship with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance is required.

This role involves working closely with an engineering team to design, develop, and deploy enterprise-wide database configurations in a rapid development environment.

The successful candidate will support large-scale systems capable of ingesting vast amounts of data and be responsible for defining significant upgrades to existing systems.

Business travel may be required to attend customer meetings and system deployment activities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • US Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or technical discipline
  • 4+ years of experience in database development and administration across the entire development lifecycle
  • Strong experience with Oracle RDBMS versions 12c and 19c
  • Experience with SQL query syntax
  • Expertise in Oracle PL/SQL functions, procedures, packages, and types
  • Familiarity with Oracle Instant Client installation
  • Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
