Medical Assistant

The Medical Assistant is a vital member of our healthcare team, responsible for providing clinical support to patients and healthcare professionals. This role requires a high level of organization, effective communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Obtain and verify patient health history, including medical records and test results.
- Collect and process biological samples for laboratory analysis.
- Perform point-of-care testing and assist with minor surgical procedures.
- Provide patient care as directed by physicians or advanced practice clinicians.
- Document patient interactions, assessments, and interventions in the medical record.
- Coordinate patient care, including tracking test results and referrals.
- Completion of an accredited Clinical Medical Assistant program.
- BLS Certification and First Aid Certification.
- 1-2 years of experience working in a clinic setting (preferred).
