Job Overview

RichSmith Management is seeking a skilled Porter/Groundskeeper to join our team in Texarkana, AR.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of community grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, pools, leasing office, and other common areas.
  • Assist with preparing vacant apartments for new residents and completing resident requests for service as directed by the Community Director.
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks such as HVAC filter changes, storm drain cleanouts, and checking mechanical systems.
  • Contribute to landscaping and ensuring the community remains in pristine condition.
  • Ensure compliance with safety policies, company operating procedures, and Fair Housing laws.
  • Deliver notices to residents and be available to walk the grounds regularly.
  • Assist with power washing and other cleaning tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • 1+ year of related experience, including maintenance experience.
  • A strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check.
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, and reach overhead for extended periods.
  • Must be able to work outside for extended lengths of time in various weather conditions.
