Boone County Family Medicine South is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team of providers in our primary care clinics. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and supporting our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care and treatment
Perform various clinical and administrative tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and collecting and preparing specimens
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
Graduate of a Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
Current licensure to practice in the state of Iowa
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Working Conditions:
