Job Summary:


We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Coordinator to join our team at Savencia Cheese USA. This is a full-time position responsible for leading and managing the warehouse operations, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment, and meeting department objectives.



Responsibilities:



  • Monitor the safety and productivity of employees
  • Closely work with other departments to meet requirements
  • Analyze the daily results, lead shift meetings to communicate quantitative and quality objectives and results
  • Assign resources based on objectives data and supply chain constraints
  • Verify that equipment, grounds and walls are clean according to GMP standards
  • Participate, support and lead employees in the continuous improvement process
  • Oversee the operations and processes, monitor the proper functioning of the warehouse procedures and equipment to meet department objectives
  • Ensure that equipment and materials are ready for startup prior to scheduled start time
  • Develop and improve procedures, SOPs and other instructions according to needs and oversee their application
  • Rotate employees according to any safety or quality concerns
  • Follows all Quality policies & procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's)
  • Follows all Safety policies & procedures and participates in monthly observations


Requirements:



  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Computer skills and basic knowledge of MS Excel, Outlook, and Word
  • Mechanical Aptitude
  • Ability to speak, read, write and comprehend English
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience


Work Environment:


While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in a manufacturing environment with the following conditions;



  • Consistent exposure to cold climate
  • Exposure to noise and vibration frequently
  • Exposure to wet conditions frequently

The use of steel-toed safety shoes, coveralls, safety glasses and hard hat is required.

  • Stand - continuously/frequently
  • Stoop/Bend – continuously/frequently
  • Squat - occasionally
  • Crawl - occasionally
  • Climb Stairs or ladders - occasionally
  • Reach – chest level, above or below - occasionally
  • Push - 50 lbs. -occasionally
  • Pull - 50 lbs. -occasionally
  • Lift/carry- 50 lbs. -occasionally


Additional Information:


This is a full-time position. Days and hours vary depending on the shift and department. Overtime and weekend work is required at times. Vacation coverage as needed.
