About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at Amazing Care Home Health Services. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional to make a meaningful impact in the lives of clients and their families.

Salary: $70-$85 per visit, with a pay range of $91,000 to $145,600 annually for full-time positions and $37,000 to $83,000 annually for part-time roles.

Job Description:

As a Speech Language Pathologist with Amazing Care, you will be responsible for assessing clients' needs and developing treatment plans to improve their communication and swallowing abilities. You will provide therapy and document progress to ensure comprehensive care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations and develop high-quality care plans that meet the needs of patients and families.
  • Create and implement speech therapy treatment plans in collaboration with physicians.
  • Assist pediatric and young adult patients in developing or regaining cognitive, speech, language, feeding/swallowing, and social/emotional functioning, ultimately improving their level of independence.
  • A minimum of one year of recent work experience as a Speech Therapist is preferred.
  • You should have the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and above-average organizational skills are essential.
  • Strong documentation skills, including a good understanding of basic home health agency regulations and requirements, are necessary.
  • A solid grasp of electronic medical record documenting is also required.

Qualifications:

  • Licensed Speech Language Pathologist in Texas is mandatory.
  • Experience in home health or a related field is highly valued.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record documentation is necessary.
  • The ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans is crucial.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work with diverse client needs are required.
