About the Role:

New Balance is seeking a skilled Product Owner to lead the enhancement of our global DTC business by improving our order management technology.

This role will work closely with teams of developers and business partners to craft a global vision and product strategy that aligns with the DTC long-term plan.

The Product Owner will focus on creating best-in-class operations by enhancing our inventory management, delivery visibility, customer service, payment, and omnichannel capabilities.

This role will ensure we're creating a seamless customer experience across every touchpoint in the consumer journey.

The Product Owner must be able to work at the strategic level (generating innovative ideas, change management) and at the tactical level (analyzing data, managing a backlog, communicating status and progress).

Must have business and technical skills to conduct business reviews, communicate across all levels of the organization, and find the fastest way to achieve value within the product line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap to drive continuous progress towards desired business outcomes.
  • Own the roadmap and execution plan of enhancing our global Order Management systems.
  • Define success metrics for the product and new capabilities and continuously measure success towards those goals.
  • Lead the ideation, development, and launch of Minimum Viable Products and scale them when validated.
  • Manage the entire product life cycle from discovery through creation and validation to production and repeat.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3-5 years in a Product Management role.
  • Ecommerce and Order Management expertise is a plus.
  • Ability to manage a global product across global stakeholders.
  • Must possess strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies.
  • A natural decision-maker who inspires the confidence of those they work with. Has the ability to present their case with confidence.
