Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager, Food and Beverage Director to join our team at Westhaven Golf Club. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in restaurant management and banquet services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management and Facilitation: Assist in the management and facilitation of dining and beverage services, including dining room, turn grille operation, beverage cart, and banquet execution.
  • Supervision: Direct supervision of front of house staff, including turn grille & beverage cart staff.
  • Scheduling: Scheduling of all front of house employees, beverage cart and turn grille staff.
  • Employee Management: Recommends the hiring, counseling, and termination of employees.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Completion of payroll, tips, and banquet event service charge for all Front of House and Turn Grille staff.
  • Beverage Inventory Control: Direct responsibility for organization of all beverage inventory control.
  • Training and Onboarding: Training and onboarding new Front of House dining service employees.
  • Audit and Closing Duties: Audit of member checks to ensure accuracy at the end of each shift and closing duties and managers checklist.
  • Other Duties: Assist with inventory of china, glass, silver, and banquet equipment, assist with execution of all banquet and catering functions, answering of phones & assisting with member greeting when concierge is not on duty.

Requirements:

  • Service Heart: Service heart and ability to read and speak English.
  • Organizational Skills: Exceptional organizational skills and intermediate to advanced computer knowledge.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills and ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy when working with members and staff.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work under pressure with tight time constraints, as well as the ability to deal with frequent interruptions, unresolved situations, frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
  • Confidentiality: Ability to keep sensitive information highly confidential.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health, vision, dental, 401k with a strong match, and paid time off.
