District Custodian

The Eugene School District is looking for a reliable and hardworking District Custodian to join our custodial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain a clean and safe environment by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors.
• Empty trash and recyclables from classrooms, hallways, and restrooms.
• Restock paper products and soap dispensers.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Ability to learn about various cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
• Some mechanical abilities to troubleshoot and perform non-complex repairs.
• Good physical condition to perform lifting and manual labor tasks.
• Ability to apply safe work practices.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff, and administrators.

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $70,000 per year, based on location and experience.
