Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Cleaner to join our team at Fords Garage in Florence. As a Kitchen Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities:
  • Wash and clean tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment
  • Keep the dish room and equipment clean and organized
  • Stock the kitchen with clean tableware
  • Remove garbage from the restaurant and maintain a clean environment
  • Maintain clean and sanitary restrooms
  • Perform opening set up, running side work, and closing duties
  • Clean and maintain floors according to cleaning standards
  • Sweep parking lots, back dock, and kitchen frequently
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of basic restaurant hospitality and a fully engaged service-minded attitude
  • Good hearing for safety and accurate communication
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak in English
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work
  • Ability to tolerate significant changes in temperature and frequent immersion of hands in water and cleaning solutions
  • Must possess valid food safety certification
  • Compliance with our dress and appearance policy including black slip-resistant shoes
Physical Requirements:
  • Prolonged periods walking or standing
  • Ability to lift, carry, and place up to 50 pounds at a time
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and wipe frequently
  • Ability to work in a hot and damp environment
Estimated Salary:

$35,000 - $45,000 per year
