Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Engineer to join our team at ECI (Equipment & Controls Inc.). This role will involve working on automation projects for various industries, utilizing Emerson's DeltaV control system and other PLCs.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical engineering, with experience in process control and automation. They will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and commissioning control panels for batch and continuous control applications.

This is a hands-on role that requires excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engineering Services: Provide project, site, and integration engineering services using Emerson's DeltaV distributed control system and other PLCs.
  • Control Panel Design: Engineer, implement, test, and commission control panels for batch and continuous control applications.
  • Technical Support: Provide electrical and hardware engineering support to panel design teams, as well as technical support for project management and sales teams.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in process control and automation, with a focus on electrical engineering.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of current distributed control systems (DCS/PLC), particularly Emerson's DeltaV. Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
