The Administrative Support Coordinator will provide high-level administrative support to the Executive Director of Adult & Continuing Education and Business Engagement. This role involves managing a wide range of administrative tasks to ensure efficient operation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between administrative staff and department managers, providing assistance and support when needed.
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements, reserve facilities for meetings, and maintain the Executive Director's calendar.
  • Assist with maintaining and updating division services, programs, procedures, and policies, as well as creating and updating course manuals, documents, and marketing materials.
  • Coordinate division-specific events and assist with report preparation.
  • Provide customer service to students and business constituents via phone, email, and in-person.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a minimum of an Associate's Degree and 2 years' experience as an administrative assistant, sales associate, or customer service associate. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of the required degree.

A minimum of 2 years of work experience is required, preferably serving a diverse group of people and supporting a department leader. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.

You should demonstrate understanding of the community college mission, practice an open-door policy, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required, as well as the ability to follow established protocols.

This position requires strong organizational and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. A valid driver's license and private transportation are also necessary.

A minimum salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year is estimated based on the requirements and location.
